Cookies and You
A cookie is simply a small packet of data that remembers things about you. It lets you log in, because it remembers who you are. It lets you buy stuff, because it remembers what you’ve added to your cart and what data you've entered in form fields.
You can choose to turn off third-party cookies. To do this in Chrome (for example):
- Select the Chrome menu icon.
- Select Settings.
- Near the bottom of the page, select Show advanced settings.
- In the "Privacy" section, select Content settings.
- Check Block third-party cookies and site data.
- Select Finished.
